The domain registrar reserves the URL and provides the tools to point the address to the files comprising your website. The web host is where those files are stored and served to visitors.

Registrars like GoDaddy offer all-in-one packages that include domain name registration and website hosting, but their servers tend to be crowded and constrained by the compromises necessary to facilitate sites of all kinds.

There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a web host, all of which contribute to your site’s speed, performance, and security. In our case, we are using WP Engine.
